Jonathan Bekemeier

​

Bekemeier's versatility is apparent in his spots.  He can go from working with people who have never before been on camera, to seasoned, comedic actors in a heartbeat. On set, he sets up a nurturing environment for real people and a collaborative environment for actors which is vital to successful performances. Bekemeier has worked with a variety of agencies and clients including McDonald's, Honda, Arnold Worldwide, Blue Cross Blue Shield, HAVAS, Kentucky Lottery, LendingTree, Mullen and First Tennessee Bank among many others. His filmmaking credits include directing 'Titler', a surreal satire that has played around the world, winning  an honorable mention at the Sundance Film Festival. He also was the DP of 'Black and White and Red All Over,' another Sundance film. Jonathan attended Emerson College and got his start directing music videos for groups like the Pixies and Buffalo Tom. 

​He currently lives outside Boston in an 1898 firehouse, but is not a firefighter.
